William Colleran, JD, PhD

Dr. Colleran has over 35 years of experience as an engineer, investment banker, technology entrepreneur & CEO. As CEO, he led Impinj (the leading RFID chip supplier – ticker: PI) and Innovent Systems (producer of the world’s first CMOS Bluetooth chip – acquired by Broadcom).

He was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch’s technology group and has extensive chip design experience with TRW. He holds a PhD from UCLA, MS from USC, and BS from Notre Dame, all in Electrical Engineering, and JD degree from Harvard Law School.
